DNA Paternity Testing

We use PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) testing to provide the most advanced technology on the market when it comes to DNA paternity testing, and can conclusively determine parentage and non-parentage. A cheek swab is taken to collect the DNA.

The PCR can conclusively reveal either parentage or non-parentage. The results for non-parentage can be determined at 0%, and if the test is positive, it will be reported with a greater than 99.99% accuracy rate. The tests can reveal a CPI of at least 10,000 — which is why the results are so accurate.

If you need legal DNA testing for court purposes, you’ll need to bring valid photo identification with you to the appointment. Each test takes about 15 minutes to administer, and chain of custody procedures (meaning the legal paper trail) will be followed.

Your results will typically be available two to five business days after the samples have been collected. Your report will include the entire genetic profile for each person who was tested. You’ll also receive a legal document about the results that is approved for court use throughout the country. In addition, you will get an explanation of the results in layman’s terms. If you need the results to be forwarded to someone else, such as legal counsel, please notify us at time of sample collection.

You may want to determine parentage for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Child support
  • Custody
  • Legal proceedings
  • Immigration needs
  • Insurance claims
  • Birth certificates
  • Simply for your personal knowledge and peace of mind.
